4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS in Australia). We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication and database hosting
• Expo — Push notification delivery
• Apple / Google — Social sign-in (if used)

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and GDPR (where applicable), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data (via Settings > Delete Account)
• Export your data upon request
• Withdraw consent for notifications at any time

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Children's Privacy

AFL Paradise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
